Attorney Camila Rocio Ransom, Esq.

Camila has extensive experience representing clients on a variety of immigration-related matters including, family-based petitions, waivers, consular processing, humanitarian visas, and removal defense. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Prior to opening her practice, Camila worked representing clients in immigration proceedings in a variety of legal settings, from legal services to private Boston-based firms. Camila also worked for a civil litigation firm where she focused on insurance defense matters.
Camila graduated from Suffolk University Law School in May of 2015. While in law school, Camila was awarded a legal fellowship with a human rights organization in Cape Town, South Africa. She also served as a Student Attorney in the Accelerator to Practice Clinical Program, where she represented families in eviction defense and in discrimination matters.
Camila received her undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York where she majored in Sociology with minors in Political Science and Information Technology. Prior to law school, Camila worked as a Senior Legal Assistant for a large, international law firm in Washington, DC.
As a native of Santiago, Chile, Camila is fluent in Spanish and English and is dedicated to serving the interests of the immigrant community.

Maria Andrea Wesch, Managing Legal Assistant
Maria Andrea Wesch received her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in May of 2020. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology from The University of California, Irvine.
As a native of Colombia, Maria is fluent in both Spanish and English. Maria immigrated from Colombia with her mother in the early 1990´s. She has worked in the immigration legal field since 2013, and is very passionate about helping the immigrant community.
Prior to working at the Law Offices of Camila R. Ransom, Maria worked at various small and medium Immigration law firms in Boston and Southern California as a Paralegal, and on the operational teams. She has assisted many clients in obtaining legal status, including Asylum, Legal Permanent Residence, and Citizenship.
As an immigrant herself, Maria hopes to continue helping other immigrants make their dreams come true in the United States while helping them navigate the complex ropes of the Immigration legal system.
